Terms and Conditions
General Terms and Conditions (GTC) for “Maier Business Coaching”
- Scope of Application: These General Terms and Conditions apply to all coaching services offered and provided by Diether Maier within the framework of the "Maier Business Coaching" practice. They are directed at individuals, executives, and organizations that utilize coaching services.
- Contract Conclusion: A contract is concluded through written or verbal agreement to the first paid coaching session. By scheduling the session, the client acknowledges these Terms and Conditions.
- Services and Implementation: Coaching takes place in the form of individual consultations, workshops, or online sessions. Content and objectives are agreed upon individually. Coaching is not therapy and does not replace medical or psychological treatment. Clients agree that if they are currently taking medication and/or undergoing professional treatment, they will not discontinue it without prior consultation with their treating physician/therapist.
- Fees and Payment Terms: Fees are based on the agreed hourly rate and are payable within 14 days of invoicing without deduction. Separate payment terms apply to workshops.
- Cancellation Policy and Cancellation Fees: Scheduled appointments are binding. Cancellations are free of charge up to 48 hours before the appointment. For cancellations made later or in case of no-show, the full fee will be charged (except in cases of illness).
- Cancellation: Agreed coaching sessions can be cancelled by either party at any time up to 7 days before the next scheduled appointment. This does not apply to coaching packages agreed upon at preferential rates.
- Confidentiality: All content of coaching sessions is treated confidentially. The coach is committed to maintaining confidentiality regarding all personal and professional information of the client.
- Liability: Participation in coaching is at your own risk. Clients make their own life decisions. Liability for any consequences arising from the coaching process is excluded, except in cases of intentional or grossly negligent conduct on the part of the coach.
- Data protection: Personal data will be used exclusively for the purpose of conducting the coaching and will not be passed on to third parties. The provisions of the data protection declaration at www.mensch-maier.de apply.
- Final Provisions: Should individual provisions of these Terms and Conditions be invalid, the validity of the remaining provisions shall remain unaffected. The place of jurisdiction is Karlsruhe, provided it is legally permissible.
